Mastering Visual Expression

I’ve always been drawn to making things with my hands - to color, texture, movement, and the freedom that comes with creating something from nothing. With a degree in Graphic Design, creativity has always been part of my life, but for many years, painting quietly took a back seat.

I eventually found my way back to it during a time when I needed an outlet for anxiety. Painting became a kind of refuge - a place where my mind could quiet down and I could simply create. That return to art felt less like rediscovering an old hobby and more like coming home to something I was always meant to do.

Being from the wonderful city of New Orleans, my work is rooted in a love of bold color, abstract expression, and pieces that feel joyful, imperfect, and full of life.

The painted oysters began almost by accident - just something fun to experiment with. But somewhere between the brushstrokes, color combinations, and transformation of each shell, I fell in love with the process. What started as a playful idea became another way for me to create beauty, explore color, and turn something simple into something completely one-of-a-kind.

So look around, I hope you enjoy what you see. Want a custom piece? Do you have an idea for something in a specific part of your home? Big or small, lets make it work.
